The day has finally arrived! Breaking Blue’s much anticipated third album will be released on Friday, June 21, 2013. Breaking Blue started as an “Old Time” folk group playing many traditional and original songs with a twist- a classical flute rather than the more traditional sound of the fiddle. The blending of Randy Martin’s clawhammer banjo with the flute of Stephanie Liu provides Breaking Blue with a unique sound that has become an award-winning staple in the New Mexico music community. With the soaring vocals of Chrystal Copeland and Cassie Rogers, the jazzy upright bass style of Shawn Berkompas, and the blend of percussion that Isaac Sanderville provides, the bands third album, “Perfidy” is sure to please fans of many genres of music. As an extra bonus, they will be joined by their multi-talented producer, Drew Hodge, who will be opening the show with some amazing music of his own.
